From College Friends to Entrepreneurs
OUR STORY
We are Yash Vyas and Krunal Panchal, the founders of Owsho. Our journey began in 2017 when we met during our second year of college. Hailing from Gujarat, our friendship quickly grew into a shared vision. After graduation, we were determined to venture beyond traditional jobs and decided to start our own mobile store. This decision marked the beginning of our entrepreneurial journey.
CHALLENGES FACED
We started our mobile store in 2019, but soon after, the COVID-19 pandemic struck. To maintain customer satisfaction, we delivered products door-to-door. Despite our efforts, we encountered significant problems due to the dominance of e-commerce platforms. Customers were increasingly drawn to online shopping, resulting in reduced foot traffic to our store.
THE BIRTH OF OWSHO
Amidst all these challenges, we conceived the idea of creating a platform that supports local retailers, ensuring their businesses thrive and maintain their identity in the digital world. In 2022, this idea took shape, and after two years of extensive research, we developed Owsho. Our aim is to provide a platform that helps local businesses establish their online presence and reach new heights.
